Day-2: Ulaanbaatar-Little Gobi Desert
We set off to the Little Gobi Desert through the Khustai Nuruu National Park where the one and only species of wild horse, the ‘Przewalski’ has been reintroduced into Mongolia. Not much further on, we come to a monument ensemble erected by the Tureg (Turkish) tribes for their noblemen during the 6th to 8th century AD. It consisted of more than 30 human-like figures, lions and sheep figures and about 550 upright stones. We have lunch at the Neolithic rock drawings on Ikh Alag mountain and proceed to drive through an area which is inhabited by herds of thousands of white-tailed gazelles all year round. There is also a hidden area where wild sheep ‘Ovis’ and elks live. Our group stay overnight in a tourist camp and enjoy the sand dunes.(B,L,D)
Day-3:Little Gobi Desert –Guchin Us Steppe.
We visit the remains of the Khara Korum of the Mongolian Empire in 13th century. In history the Karakorum city was left, when Khubilai Khan moved to present day Bejing. Today we can see just the remains of the old grand capital. The Khans who governed it, showed great tolerance to all religions and allowed Islamic mosques, Christian churches and Buddhist monasteries to be built there.
Nearby you can marvel at the green and red roofed temples of the Erdene Zuu Monastery, which was the first Mongolian Buddhist temple. It’s name is translated as "A Hundred Treasures". The temple was abandoned to Manchurians troops who damaged the site. Reconstruction has been attempted many times but most attempts were halted during the Stalinist purges. Despite it is turbulent past; the temple complex still retains its calming atmosphere.
Overnight: in tent on the vast steppe. (B,L,D)
Day-4:Guchin Us Steppe –Khongoriin Sand Dune.
Today, our first stop is the ancient remnants of rock drawings which stretch over several kilometers. Now we cross the Eastern part of the Altay Mountain range. This appears to us as the gate of the Great Gobi Desert. From here, you will be immersed in the exhilaration of the Gobi Desert which offers you not only the large Gobi forest (sexual) but camels, extinct volcanoes and sand dunes.
Finally, we reach the Khongoriin Sand Dune that will be one of the best highlights of our trip.
Overnight in the tourist ger camp a foot away from the dunes. Camel riding for an hour on dune.(B,L,D)
Day-5:Khongoriin Sand Dune –Yoliin Am National Park

will see such rare animals as wild sheep and ibexes. Our guide will point out the animals from a certain distance with the help of binoculars. Maybe they will cross right across our path. The place is full of beautiful flowers and plants. Before the visit to the Yoliin Am, we will pass through a very narrow gorge named “Dungeree” There’s only enough space for just one car to pass. This isn’t visited by many tourists and known to only local people.
Overnight in a tourist camp. (B,L,D)
Day-6: Yoliin Am National Park—Demchig Temple(remain)

There are no humans therefore it’s beauty is of complete starkness .
